2007 Pastors Appreciation Banquet
The Gideons International, Dorchester County Camp 2007 Pastors Appreciation Banquet was held April 27 at Delmarva Community Services in Cambridge.
The following are many of those who attended.
The speaker for the evening was Delmardic State Vice President who related a number of powerful testimonies of how God has used Gideon New Testaments and Bibles in various locations. In at least one case, suicide was avoided as a lady discovered a Bible -- and gave up her handgun she was going to use to kill herself with.
Young from Zion Methodist Church in Cambridge got a well deserved break after serving all of the guests.
Those attending sang "I Love To Tell The Story" and "To God Be The Glory."
Amanda Sterling sang two specials in song.
