Girl Scout Cookie Week - 2007
On January 2, 2007, Dorchester Girl Scouts and their leaders lined up in the meeting room of the Dorchester County Council as Councilwoman Effie Elzey, District 5, read a proclamation declaring the second week in January as Girl Scout Cookie Week.
It is customary at the Dorchester County Council meetings for council members to personally greet the recipients of a proclamation or commendation. From the left are Councilmembers Rick Price (District 4), President William Nichols (District 2), Ricky Travers (District 3) and Jay Newcomb (District 1).
